TASC (Training and Safety Consultants) Training Bookings

Bookings

Bookings are to be made via TASC’s online booking system and a booking confirmation email will be issued when the booking is confirmed. Bookings will not be confirmed by telephone.

Payment is to be made prior to the commencement of the course. Payment by debit/credit card will secure your registration immediately. Organisations booking training courses by way of a Purchase Order are required to ensure that payment is made within 14 days of the date of the invoice to secure their booking. Courses booked inside 15 days of their commencement date must be paid for immediately at the time of booking.

Dates for private / unscheduled courses can only be held 5 days, if a booking is not confirmed during this period, then the dates will be released.

Joining Instructions

Joining instructions including venue details, start times and PPE requirements will be sent over along with the booking confirmation to the course booker and delegates. On receiving the booking confirmation, you agree that the service provided by TASC is deemed to have commenced and that the transfer and cancellation table will apply.

Delegate Information

All mandatory fields should be completed during the booking process. Missing or incomplete information may result in your booking being rejected.

Cancellations

Written or email notifications for the cancellation of training course bookings within 0–15 days of the course date, or failure to attend a course without prior written notification, will be subject to the scale of charges shown in the Transfer and Cancellation table.

If payment has already been made only the remaining percentage of the course fee, after the transfer or cancellation charges have been applied, shall be refunded. Courses booked inside 15 days must be paid for immediately.

Cancellations of bespoke courses and exclusive courses within the 0-15 day period will be subject to the full course fee.

Cancellations Due to Sickness

Cancellations due to sickness will be accepted without charge on the basis that the delegates place will be rescheduled for a later date. Where a cancellation is made and is not rescheduled the course fee is payable except under exceptional circumstances.

Substitutions

Clients may substitute the original delegate with another person at no extra charge. Written notification is required to substitute a delegate.

Transfers

Written notification is required to transfer a booking to another course. Course bookings can be transferred without charge when notification is received 15 or more days prior to the start date of the originally booked course and if the transfer is for a like-for-like course.

Where notification is received within 10–15 days (inclusive) of the start date of the originally booked course, a once only transfer is allowed with a 25% charge applied based on the original fee. The transfer charge will be 50% where notification is received within 1–9 days (inclusive) of the course date. If that transfer is then cancelled or changed at any time, the full course fee remains payable. Transfers on the day shall only be permitted when supported by a doctor’s certificate. In all other circumstances 100% of the course fee will be payable. Only one transfer is permitted per booking. Subsequent transfers or cancellations shall be affected in line with the conditions outlined in the Transfer and Cancellation table.

(The original event fee is the amount that is to be invoiced).

All late bookings, first confirmed within 15 days of the event date, will be subject to normal cancellation and transfer terms and conditions.

Entry to the course will be denied if delegates arrive late and miss the start of the course unless under exceptional circumstances. (we reserve the right to withhold the delegates training certificate(s) until such time that full payment has been received).

Split module training courses

Training courses which comprise of more than one module have been designed to be attended in sequence to ensure continuity of the course and fellow delegates. Having attended the first module, if a delegate wishes to transfer their second module, a transfer fee equal to 25% of the total cost of the course will be levied. Transfers will only be allowed to the next available module.

Invoices and Payment

Where an invoice has been requested, payment is due immediately, if payment is not received by the date stated on the invoice then your booking may be cancelled.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the invoice is sent to the relevant department for payment.

Purchase Order numbers must be provided at the time of booking and cannot be added after a booking has been made.

Receipt of payment will be sent automatically once a credit card or invoice payment has been made.

All course fees must be paid in full before certificates will be issued.

Certificates

Certificates will not be issued until full payment has been received by TASC. If you have made payment and have still not received your certificates please email admin@tasconsultants.co.uk with proof of payment, the TASC invoice number and the course details.

Accommodation and transport

Delegates are required to provide their own accommodation and transport when attending training courses run by TASC. (Lunch and refreshments are provided for delegates attending training courses with a duration of one full day or more. Refreshments are provided during all other training courses).

Cancellation of course by TASC

TASC reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, course content, dates or published prices. Changes to course prices, times and dates will be advised before the course start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to the increased price. As a course could potentially be cancelled up to three weeks prior to its start date, we recommend that delegates do not make / book any travel arrangements before this time. Any travel costs incurred are entirely the delegate’s responsibility. TASC does not accept any liability for reimbursement of travel costs.

We shall not be liable to you for any delay or for the consequences of any delay in performing our obligations under this Agreement if such delay is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation strikes and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident).

We reserve the right to; a. refuse entry to delegates if we so choose, b. cancel courses and refund in full. No further liability will be accepted, c. vary course dates, programmes, speakers/trainers and venues. We shall endeavour to inform you as soon as possible of any course cancellation or variation.

Personal Data

We may use the personal data you provide for the purposes of administration (including Delegate registration and recording of qualifications); statistical analysis; customer services and keeping you and/or a Delegate informed of refresher training dates and our products and services.

Intellectual property

All materials provided by TASC (Training and Safety Consultants Ltd) remain the intellectual property of TASC and its partners, who assert their right to worldwide copyright unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

Special requirements

Special requirements and dietary needs can be met and arrangements for personal religious worship or for disabled delegates can be made. Simply state your requirements at the time of booking and we will make all the necessary preparations prior to your arrival.

Other terms

TASC reserves the right to remove any delegate from their programme should their behaviour be deemed to be inappropriate by TASC or its partners. This would result in no refund of course fees or other costs being paid.
