(Training and Safety Consultants) Training Bookings
Bookings can be made by phone, email or online. Email, online and telephone bookings will only be classified as confirmed once a confirmation email has been issued by TASC.
Telephone bookings will be followed up by email confirming the details and then a formal booking confirmation will be issued.
For scheduled courses, places will be offered and held for 5 working days, all forms of booking will only be considered provisional until a booking confirmation is issued by TASC. For non-scheduled, Bespoke or off-site courses where dates have been offered, we can only hold dates for 24 hours, after which they will be released to other clients.
Joining instructions including venue details, start times and PPE requirements will be sent over along with the booking confirmation to the course booker. Once the joining instructions have been issued our services are deemed to have started under the Consumer Protect (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. On receiving the joining instructions, you agree that the service provided by TASC is deemed to have commenced and you agree to waive your right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund within 14 working days under the Consumer Protect (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. In such instances, the transfer and cancellation table will apply.
Written or email notifications for the cancellation of training course bookings within 0–15 days of the course date, or failure to attend a course without prior written notification, will be subject to the scale of charges shown in the Transfer and Cancellation table.
If payment has already been made only the remaining percentage of the course fee, after the transfer or cancellation charges have been applied, shall be refunded. Courses booked inside 15 days must be paid for immediately.
Cancellations of audits, bespoke courses and exclusive courses within the 0-15 day period will be subject to the full course fee.
Cancellations Due to Sickness
Cancellations due to sickness will be accepted without charge on the basis that the delegates place will be rescheduled for a later date. Where a cancellation is made and is not rescheduled the course fee is payable except under exceptional circumstances.
Clients may substitute the original delegate with another person at no extra charge. Written notification is required to substitute a delegate.
Written notification is required to transfer a booking to another course. Course bookings can be transferred without charge when notification is received 15 or more days prior to the start date of the originally booked course an if the transfer is for a like-for-like course.
Where notification is received within 10–15 days (inclusive) of the start date of the originally booked course, a once only transfer is allowed with a 25% charge applied based on the original fee. The transfer charge will be 50% where notification is received within 1–14 days (inclusive) of the course date. If that transfer is then cancelled or changed at any time, the full course fee remains payable. Transfers on the day shall only be permitted when supported by a doctor’s certificate. In all other circumstances 100% of the course fee will be payable. Only one transfer is permitted per booking. Subsequent transfers or cancellations shall be effected in line with the conditions outlined in the Transfer and Cancellation table.
